(Sifu Gary Wong Sui Keung – Chairman’s Brief on Ving Tsun)
詠春拳的套拳 (小念頭、尋橋、標指等) 學習及拆解拳理是基本的訓練，我們以師徒互動為目標，輔以自衛/摶擊的練習，理論與實用並重。
Ving Tsun forms learning and lecturing are only basic. Our missions are personal interaction between Sifu and pupils with practical defence and combat exercises in lessons. We emphasize on both theories and practical uses of the Ving Tsun.
詠春拳合共有六套武術 Ving Tsun comprises of six forms:

「小念頭」為詠春拳之核心，手法及理論之根本 Siu Lim Tau is the core of Ving Tsun’s hand form and theories;
-
「尋橋」以手法輔以步法轉馬的攻擊為主，兩利取其重 Cham Kiu focuses on attack skills and stance movement, and maximize combat result;
-
「標指」為劣勢下手法及步法上的補救，兩害取其輕 Biu Tze teaches you how to rectify the disadvantageous positioning in combat, and minimize the chance and severity of personal injury;

「木人樁法」是詠春拳手法和步法上的修正及綜合練習 Wooden Dummy practices are combination and rectification of hand and stance techniques;

「六點半棍法」增強手法和步法的勁度 Six Point and A Half Pole can reinforce your hand and footwork strength ; 及

「八斬刀」以兵器輔以不同步法延伸手法上的應用，以簡單、快捷和靈巧取勝 Bat Cham Dao (Knives) extends the application of hand techniques with different footworks. Simple, swift and dexterous are the focuses.
詠春拳後發先至、連消帶打，講求快速制敵，強調角度、方位、速度、力度、感覺、協調和互動性的學習與運用，由「來留去送，甩手直衝」等原則的理解，以至手法上細節的學習和運用，需要反覆練習和用心體會。 每個階段遇上學習的樽頸，還原基本步 – 重新思考詠春「小念頭」的基本原理和手法，開拓更大的個人進步空間。
Ving Tsun start later, but attack earlier with simultaneous defence and attack. Speedy success in combat is the focus. Its emphasize on angling, positioning, force generating, feeling and reflection, coordinating, and interactive learning and applications. Theories like staying the incoming force, sending the outgoing force; (if) hand is disengaged, and (you) thrust forward, and other detailed applications in learning and hand applications etc., require repeated practices and learning in depth. When you encounter any bottleneck problem in any learning stage, please simplify the issue, go back to the basic, that is to say, you should re-analyse the basic theories of Siu Lim Tau (first form of Ving Tsun) and hand techniques in order to widen the scope of martial arts progress.

新武俠武術雜誌 2021年8月出版 – 本人很榮幸以新武俠武術雜誌之編輯身份，出任樹仁大學新聞及傳播學系2021年實習生計劃之導師，指導兩位大學實習生Leo及Tracy訪問白鶴派張國華師傅、詠春體育會主席李煜昌師傅、龍形派黃耀球師傅、王國祥師傅、歐國誠師傅，亦拍攝龍獅麒麟及貔貅藝，期間他們亦接受本人安排的詠春拳訓練，兩位實習生表現優異，在此表示嘉許，亦衷心感謝樹仁大學新聞與傳播學系系主任李家文博士及各位前輩的支持。My editorial in New Martial Hero Magazine (issue August 2021) for Internship Project of Department of Journalism & Communication, Hong Kong Shue Yan University. Sifu Gary Wong Sui Keung : We found that the theories for life in Ving Tsun are so rich and one may say they are even more impressive than the martial arts theories. Just like the theories and applications of the Centerline in our first form, Siu Lim Tau. We focus on centerline as the shortest distance between two points is the straight line in center. While we launch our attack along this line, we seldom move sideward or even push opponent’s hand too sideward in a way more than we need with our own positioning being wrongfully distracted. All our energy is focused on the core issues until such time when we find the special need, we then start to consider the sideward 45 degree approach in combat. It is a simple, direct and speedy solution to problem, and this approach enable us to tackle problems in real life easily. For the culture and the mutual respect issue, you cannot practice good Ving Tsun alone. Wooden Dummy is a limited substitute, and you still need to practice with interactive partners or opponents in order to gain enhancement. Interaction is necessary. Although you can passively avoid confrontation with others by moving to island with nobody, you can never gain personal enhancement in that way. If people want to enhance themselves, they must first start to understand the true meaning of “respect”, and the way to learn from other people by interaction, and it is one of the Ving Tsun focuses we emphasize. Meanwhile, when we launch our attack, our elbow sometimes reserves a little angle for defence and avoiding excessive force in practice. This is parallel to our old Chinese theory that one should not go too far in life attitude towards other people.
Disciple Lee : One must remember the scene in Ip Man Film 2 that a foreigner killed a Chinese master in arena. Grandmaster Ip Man then practiced very hard at home. When he finally overcame the foreigner in arena, he remarked everyone that the fighting result does not mean Chinese martial arts is better than overseas martial arts, but it envisages only who respects whom. (Applause)
Sifu Gary Wong Sui Keung : I like this interesting disciple.
Interviewer : Sifu Gary Wong, Ving Tsun has a deep culture and very good system. Can you briefly describe them?
Sifu Gary Wong Sui Keung : Ving Tsun, like many other martial arts in China and overseas, has a deep culture and good system, but I would not say which martial arts is the best. In Ving Tsun, Siu Lim Tau focus on centerline, while Chum Kiu focuses more on sideward 45 degree approach, and chasing the opponent’s body in combat with kicking practices. Biu Tze teaches you how to rectify your disadvantageous positions and the use of force in counterattack. Wooden Dummy Form consists of applications of the Chum Kiu and Biu Tze forms. It is convenient for you to have an imitated opponent at home for intensive practices alone at some stage. Starting from initial memorizing and practising the wooden dummy form, acquainting, and treating the Wooden Dummy as interactive opponent instead of a piece of wood standing still. The force and techniques you applied on it and its reaction are given and created by you in that interactive practice. One must try to be flexible in mind, rhythmic and treat the wooden dummy like a real opponent in order to gain enhancement. Someone may say you should break its hands with brutal force. I would say, it is wrong as breaking the hands are easy when you hit on the very end of the hands. The correct approach is to apply force towards the body of the wooden dummy, not on its hands. During your practice, if you find the core of the wooden dummy continuously receives your force with little or even no swinging, you are doing the right things. Six and A Half Pole is a Shaolin martial arts exchanged from others. Lastly, Baat Cham Knife form is the extension of our hand forms, and we focus more on its moving steps. Martial arts training requires understanding and long terms practices. One cannot be transformed into a good fighter in a very short period. During this transitional period, you must find the way to protect yourself. The moving steps of first three forms (Siu Lim Tau, Chum Kiu and Biu Tze) are martial arts targets for unarmed combat. Someone may teach you the ways how to take the knife from opponent with your bare hands. If they dare to try in real life situation, I hope they are lucky to keep their hands intact. However, the moving steps in Baat Cham Knife form are very good in avoiding armed attack. For Chinese Martial Arts, on top of its culture and mutual respect issues etc, the core issue is not the way to fight, but the way to protect yourself instead, and that’s why I first teach my disciples the moving steps in Baat Cham Knife form.

除詠春拳術外，本會會長 王瑞强師傅少年修習 剛柔流空手道 (空手道黑帶七段教士 鄭麗嫦教練授業)，曾修習 泰拳 (下圖中 泰拳名師 Mr. Worawut Namduang) 及西洋劍擊。Sifu Gary Wong received Muay Thai training from famous trainer, Mr. Worawut Namduang.
除擁有武術的專業履歷外，王瑞强師傅為 香港大學、北京政法大學、香港城市大學及香港大學專業進修學院之畢業生，擁有香港法律榮譽學士學位、中國法律學士學位、法學專業證書及 企業規範深造證書。 1996年起被香港最高法院委任為事務律師，歷任 香港公開大學、南澳洲大學、澳洲坎培拉大學、香港浸會大學持續教育學院及香港專業進修學校等大學學府或大專之法律課程顧問、兼職講師及導師超過19年，擁有豐富而專業的教學經驗，亦愛好詩文創作。On top of his Martial Arts background, Sifu Gary Wong Sui Keung has been admitted as Lawyer (Solicitor) in Hong Kong over 20 years, and a Professional Lecturer, External Academic Advisor and Tutor for University of South Australia, University of Canberra, Baptist University of Hong Kong, Open University of Hong Kong and HKCT for over 19 years. He was the graduates of University of Hong Kong, China University of Political Science and Law, City University of Hong Kong and HKU SPACE for LLB (Hon) Hong Kong and English Law Degree, PRC Law Degree, Postgraduate Certificate in Corporate Compliance with Merit, Postgraduate Certificate in Laws.

「感恩、互勉」
李校長、各位副校長及老師、各位校友會及家教會的成員、各位家長及同學，大家好！
感恩的心:
成長之路是充滿挑戰及令人困惑，衷心感謝在座各位教育工作者及家長，與各位畢業同學共同努力，攜手奮鬥多年，協助我們年青一代越過每一個成長階段，開展未來，並為母校的發展及傳承，留下鞏固基礎及深刻的印記，特別感謝李校長、校友會、各位老師、家長及同學給予我這位老校友一個機會，懷著感恩的心，回來分享一些過往成長的困惑和經歷。
凡事有兩面:
本人父母的學識不多，只聽聞過官校就是好學校，填寫初中派位學校的志願名次時，看到元朗「趙聿修官立中學」的名字，一間新成立的學校！一年後已改稱「趙聿修紀念中學」，感謝當年 趙聿修先生的捐款，我們才有這個理想的學習環境。 很幸運地，最終我被派到這個大家庭。 回想當年回校的路途頗為艱辛，家住葵涌，要乘搭61號單層巴士由葵通駛上大帽山頂，輾轉經過錦田再駛到元朗，全程約兩個半小時，回程也一樣。 但凡事總有兩面看，我喜愛大自然，車程沿途風光如畫，每天尤如出發去郊遊，母校的課室，從前看到無數漁塘的境觀，非常壯麗，雖然今天已有改變，但環境仍然很理想。加上我們是第一屆中一同學，沒有師兄師姐，所以一入學已當上大師兄。剛才有領袖生吳偉南同學及上屆男女領袖生上台領奬，令我想起我們大師兄戴麟先生，戴先生是我們Head Prefect(領袖生)，亦是母校40周年的主禮嘉賓，我們大師兄之中的大師兄！當年無論我們的言行上有多反叛，只要看到他的出現，以微笑而帶點寬恕的眼神看著我們，我想…「我知道了!」便會立即收儉態度，一切回復正常，這是同學之間一份很微妙的互相尊重和默契，以及對母校的一份不變的忠誠。
由零開始:
派到這個大家庭是我的幸運，但到來時發現抽中不是「現樓」，而是「樓花」。1979年創校時校舍尚未起好，故暫借鄰校的鄉議局中學的課室作臨時校舍，我們8班中一生暫寄居其中，每天在小息及午飯時習慣向同一方向遙望母校，一個建築中的地盆，記掛每天施工的進度。 一年之後，校舍終於正式落成。首任校長潘煒棠先生動員全體師生去執拾環境，到鄰近漁塘挖泥、搬泥建立花糟，佈置全校，感覺完全像堆砌一磚一瓦般，去建立及豐富這所剛成立的學校，潘校長提醒我們任重道遠，時刻要做個好榜樣，很感恩能參與其中。 6年前，本人開始參與校友會的工作，看到一班牽頭的校友戴麟先生、鍾兆輝先生、潘德昌先生、曾耀祖先生、李明德先生….(還有很多校友，抱歉未能盡錄)自1993年已懷著慷慨無私的心，為母校出力，很抱歉自已遲了回來協助。 未來我要多付出一點的努力，協助大家一同建設母校。衷心感謝李校長及校友會，特別是鍾兆輝先生、戴麟先生、潘德昌先生及李明德先生的推薦，今年加入學校管理委員會，延續當年潘校長囑咐的工作，協助管理及發展我們的母校。
向老師致敬：
本人在小學的成績強差人意，全班名次的數值上，每年都有正增長，當然，名次與分數是不同，名次的數值越大，反而不是好事。 剛入讀中一的時候，我嘗試拿起一份南華早報閱讀，看了不久，曾經懷疑過自己是半個文盲。 中一至中三的排名，一向是同級的中下游，直至到中四某天的地理科測驗，看見試題時，忽然記起睡前半小時翻過某一兩頁的內容，背寫了出來，獲得了人生中第一個70分，本來也不算什麼特別優秀的成績，但卻在那次測驗成績中，排名全班第二，獲得張文憲老師和同學的認同，人生中那一點努力的火種，正式由那一刻開始燃點起來，開始用心讀書。中五公開試考獲不錯的成績，中七公開試雖然失準，但很快重新振作起來，由入讀城大法律系開始，再轉到香港大學法律系完成法律的資格，這一段不易的旅程，衷心感謝多位恩師的悉心教導，包括母校的創校校長潘煒棠先生、地理科的張文憲老師、體育科的麥永傑老師、班主任朱麗霞老師及黃棟基老師、英文科的袁家齊老師、中文科的蒙合心老師 (抱歉未能盡錄)，大學年代的講師Terrence Hole、Carole Padley Chiu及已故的港大法律系院長Professor Michael Wilkinson，令我能夠最終在1996年註冊成為香港最高法院之律師，本人衷心多謝您們的教導。 相信在座的畢業同學，必有您們想感謝的教職員，畢業禮禮成後，大家好好把握這個機會，跟那教職員說聲:「多謝。」
體諒老師的工作：
除了律師的工作外，我曾擔任南澳洲大學、澳洲坎培拉大學、香港浸會大學及香港公開大學之課程顧問、兼任法律講師及導師近20年。 在大學教學多年，令我從“學習” 走到了“教學”的人生階段，我以律師的專業資格及經驗向大學生教授法律知識，原來也只是一個教學入門的起步，須要承受上課、改卷及備課等各方面的極大壓力。 老師作為教育的榜樣，我們緊抱著對教學的熱誠及期望，為學生開啓知識的大門及分擔成長的的重擔，是一份非常專業的工作。 希望各位家長體諒所有教育工作者的壓力，加強溝通，一同努力為下一代建立更理想的人生起步點。
正面的人生觀：
學習武術，是我少年時的夢想，雖然從介紹中看到我一點武術成就，但大家有沒有想過「乜打波先至黎落雨」的場面，一切其實得來不易。我的火種也沿自母校曾舉辦的空手道班，由空手道剛柔流黑帶四段的鄧麗嫦師傅教授，自已很用心去學，師傅教授如何打木柱，我卻私下穿道袍去停車場暗角苦練，打大石柱，希望爭取更大的進步，可是我家境清貧，家中唯一可以關門讀書的地方的房間，只有廚房，這樣的環境下，最終也因無力支付空手道的學費而被迫放棄。大學期間雖然有學習西洋劍擊，以至後來工餘時修習泰拳，14年前，本開始在工餘時研究各類中國武術，後來正式拜師學習葉問系詠春拳，苦練拳術，接受同門師兄弟妹的挑戰，分別考獲教練及裁判資格，收徒執教功夫，做武術比賽的裁判長，以至獲得前輩及同門的支持，當選董事，成為葉問廟堂的其中一位管理人，協助葉問宗師創立的詠春體育會發展詠春武術，由拳入道，發展中國武術文化。 我深信只要我們努力，上天絕不會放棄我們，少年的夢想，最終也可以實現，本人十來歲時的夢想，雖然50歲後才能實現，但一點也不遲。
從取捨到規劃人生：
在大學年代，我醉心音樂活動，甚至參加過新秀歌唱大赛，黎小田先生當年幫我彈鋼琴伴奏，但因我失準而未能入選。 雖然輸掉比賽，但我沒有放棄，我努力當作曲家及填詞人，組織樂隊到各大會堂表演，當中包括母校這個聿修堂。 但人生總有取捨的時候，理想和現實，有時須要一些協調和過渡的安排，當年父母養家承受極大壓力，自己總不能向家人拋下一句:「我去當流浪歌手，再見。」放棄家人去追尋理想。 大學畢業後，我暫別音樂，選擇踏實的工作，當律師、在大學任教，但取捨不是終結，我沒有離開音樂，現時仍有將自已創作或演出的歌曲或音樂，放在Facebook及LinkedIn分享。 說到LinkedIn，提醒我規劃自已的人生的重要性，本人鼓勵大家去免費註冊一個LinkedIn戶口(當然不是為了“LIKE”我)，試做Benchmarking，看看網內自已理想職業內的成功人士，所修讀的科目、大學及Intern的選擇，學習的技能，及如何持續進修及提昇自已的職場態度，以至到經歷什麼的階段，才能達到閣下理想的職場位置，規劃往後的人生。
寄語:
最後，我想起在大學年代，有位剛相識的同學曾經問我:「師兄，您在那一所(中學)名校畢業的?」我猶豫了一會，不敢直視地答道:「元朗區的(學校) ,算不算?」當然，我強調我的回應，只因為當年我自信心不足，與本校無關。 但若今天再有人問我，中學在那一所名校就讀，我會直接了當地說:「趙聿修紀念中學！」 從無到有，大家多年的努力並沒有白廢，母校是創校42年經歷7位校長與多年師生的共同努力建立的成果，畢業生中人材輩出，有會計、法律、金融保險、醫護、科技等界別及政府的精英。既有前人，往後亦必有後來者！ 我們的母校，絕對是一所用心辦教育的好學校！ 面對時代不斷轉變和進步，對學習、工作和態度上的要求越來越高，希望大家謹記「態度主宰人生」，培養一份恆久忍耐和開放的心，全力迎接未來的機遇與挑戰。
期待各位畢業生日後回來，協助校友會及母校的工作，甚或站在這個舞台上，分享您們人生的經歷，衷心多謝大家。

標題:《做好自己，成為別人的榜樣！》
校長、副校長、各位老師、家教會代表、舊生會代表、各位家長、各位中一同學…早安!!
我叫王瑞强，跟大家有同一個共同的聯系……同樣是趙中既學生，只是新舊生的小差別……1979年我入讀母校 趙聿修紀念中學，亦是原校第一屆升讀中五、中七既畢業生。……衷心感謝母校及趙中舊生會給予我機會回來分享。
1979年9月1日入學當日，跟大家一樣在台下就坐，分別是地點不在 “聿修堂”，而是借用 “鄉議局中學禮堂”，還記得首任校長……潘煒棠校長承諾我們，會盡快興建校舍安頓我們，亦承諾跟我們一同做好這所新學校。
印象中最深刻是潘校長教識我們一件很重要的事……就是大家要努力做好自己，成為別人的榜樣！
潘校長身型很魁梧，相對我當時只是個矮小的初中生。 某日，潘校長看見操場仍堆放著大大小小裝著空調組件的大木箱，但負責裝運的工人只有兩人，他重復看著手錶，等了一會便急步走向那堆木箱，卻沒有怪責工人，只見他除掉領呔、卷起手袖，竟然與工人一起默默拆箱！ 看見校長放下身段，為我們盡快拆箱、裝設禮堂的空調設備，還有操場滿地的發泡膠及膠紙，自已也忍不住步出來，主動幫忙搬走拆下的木塊和地上的垃圾。
說也奇怪，當我開始執拾不久，其他同學看到亦開始主動加入幫忙。 潘校長抬起頭，看著我們呆一呆，即提示我們不要搬動木塊，因為木塊又重又尖，十分危險，我們只需將垃圾搬過一旁便可以返回課室。 大家小心奕奕地清理，還不時互相提點。
轉過頭來，又看見在潘校長衣履整齊，沒有抱怨，在禮堂台上訓示我們，提示我們要努力做好自已本份，成為其他人的榜樣。
原來，當有人開始付出和努力，會有別人慢慢認同及加入，大家會互相關心照顧，齊心努力完成一件事，那怕我們今天力量少，但我們的志氣永遠不少 …衷心多謝 潘煒棠校長帶領我們上了人生寶貴的一課……
